Green space design for the main traffic artery of the town of Tábor

Design: Landeco atelier

Year of design: 2017

Construction: Martin Krejčí

Phase I completed: 2018

Client: Město Tábor (Town of Tábor)

The Landeco studio had the opportunity to design the landscaping as part of the regeneration of Budějovická Street in Tábor. Budějovická Street is one of the most important and at the same time busiest traffic routes in the town. In its early days, Budějovická Street was lined with an avenue of trees, which unfortunately gave way over time to increasing traffic. The proposed landscaping partly restores the street’s original rich greenery, using not only tree planting but also other types of urban greenery, such as clipped hedges and perennial beds. The proposed greenery will ensure cleaner air, and the street will once again become an attractive and representative place.
